More recently, McDonald’s has ceased to own the exclusive right to use the Big Mac trademark in the European Union. This news could not pass by the guys from Burger King and launched a number of “promo-burgers”.
Advertising company – “Not Big Macs”. Visitors to institutions in Europe could watch the new burgers on the menu, which directly said what they were better than Big Mac. Something like: “It looks like Big Mac, but really big”, “Something like Big Mac, only tastes better and juicier,” and others.
Now, after losing McDonald’s against Supermac’s small network, other companies in the European Union can use BigMac.
