YouTube announced a new extension for TrueView in-stream video ads. With it, users will be able to supplement advertising with additional useful information. For example, viewers will be able to buy tickets, download applications and perform many other targeted activities.
Brands such as Vodafone, Chili’s, 20th Century Fox already use this feature. Vodafone noted an improvement in click-through rate of 3.5% – 785% more compared to regional marks.
