Targeted ads in social networks bring significant incomes to business owners, social network owners, and overload the feed of ordinary users. To help users while not losing the profit, Facebook is going to introduce a paid refusal to view advertising.
In an interview with NBC, Cheryl Sandberg, Facebook’s chief operating officer, said that the company collects personal data exclusively for a more suitable display of targeted advertising. On the day of publication of the post in the social network, it is still not possible to altogether abandon the transfer of its data to advertisers.
Because of the massive data leakage, many users are concerned about the issue of their cybersecurity. Facebook goes to the meeting and gives the opportunity to leave their data only for the user for a modest fee.
